HoLEP surgical training program, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿
Wow!! The first time I visited a hospital with so many young! doctors, all highly passionate about learning or improving their enucleation techniques. Dr J. Shodmonov, National Medical Centre and Jamshidbek Khalilov, Golden Vodiy Clinic ran these three training days. Many surgeons from all over Central Asia – Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tatarstan – gathered together in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The future is an expanding HoLEP-Hub for Central Asia. Training days and remote mentoring on demand. The Department of Urology, National Medical Centre, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Proceedings in HoLEP mentoring
Thanks to the simple plug-and-play handling of Rods&Cones smart glasses, we finally found an efficient way to offer a remote mentoring program with excellent quality and low effort.
A combination of specifically structured and customized (e.g. HoLEP professionals, newbees, interns) short presentations with a focus on didactic relevance together with life operations including a presentation of our setting (Lasersystem, patient handling, instruments) is in our all inclusive pilot.

Regarding Rezum, the implementation of LA – based on Silvia Secco recipe – was a huge step forward. It’s fantastically effective, making the pure local anesthesia of the Rezum procedure virtually painless! Obviously a nice option for multiple morbid patients not able to undergo general anesthesia.
